Nickel Plating

Nickel is a versatile finish that provides a strong, durable and malleable coating, with excellent corrosion resistance. Nickel is often combined with a copper pre-plate or strike for added corrosion resistance or extra brightness, and a final chromium finish to provide even more corrosion resistance, an anti-tarnish property to the nickel deposit, and the bluish color identified with chromium plating.

Milwaukee Plating can produce a bright nickel finish on one manual and two automatic hoist lines. A satin nickel finish or dull nickel finish can be produced on our manual line, creating an attractive finish that is pleasantly soft in appearance. It also can be textured by brushing to produce a directional satin finish, and when chromium plated, creates the traditional “satin chrome” finish.
